I've lived in Atlanta for 45 years and I love my Southern life, but Italy has stolen my heart. I now live there much of the year with my Italian partner, Roberto Crocenzi, in the small Medieval village of Montisi in southern Tuscany. We live a simple life of good friends, great food and magnificent wine!
Roberto's restaurant in Montisi, serving organic, locally grown food, and wines from small, top-quality producers of this famous wine region, has introduced us to guests from all over the world. It's our great joy that many have become friends, and return often to share a meal with us.
After twelve years of leading small group tours to Italy, my travelers get an insider's view of a unique culture and lifestyle. My tours with Roberto have expanded that view to include an Italian viewpoint with someone well-versed in the history and current events of his country.
Painters, writers, photographers, and anyone who wants to experience the charm of a week in the Italian countryside will be inspired and intriqued by the dreamy landscape surrounding the villages of Tuscany and the Amalfi Coast. Let's explore the secrets and discoveries of these villages and hill towns together.
